Wow.
This was taken on the beach at 6:45 Kailua time.
So the plane ride wasn't so bad, I slept for a bit on the last two flights. I wend to bed last night around 9:30 HI time (3:30am NY time)... and woke up at 4am HI time... but I went back to sleep and woke up at 6:00. Couldn't go back to sleep so I walked to the beach (maybe 1/4 mile??) and watched the sun rise. It was a little overcast, but it was so beautiful.
For those who know me well, you know I love the mountains and I enjoy the beach. This place is a perfect combination of both, and it isn't too dry. In between Honolulu and Kailua there is abundant growth, "jungle" almost.
It is something I cannot explain, but it is completely beautiful.
I will post pictures of my view out the plane windows, the apartment, and the sunrise this morning.

Your pictures are amazing! I have been enjoying your comments on the trip and your travels thus far. I would love to see a pic of the outside of where you are staying.. is that possible?
How is the water there? any good? How is the humidity and your hair doing? hehe
